How comes dalton's a fraud but brushy isn't? Same story different people but friends!! For some people its just not possible to discern nuances. When you get stuck in thinking the world is black and white you loose the ability to see beyond your own preconceptions. Its just like that.

How comes dalton's a fraud but brushy isn't? Same story different people but friends!! Of course it is not the same story. To suggest it isn't possible for one of them to be a fraud and the other not, is frankly absurd and in my opinion disingenuous.

When anyone ever brings some strong Brushy arguments to the table I can always count on Dalton being brought into the conversation by the anti-Brushy squad.

Its a ridiculous assertion that anyone who associated with Dalton must be a fraudster. Even if you could prove Dalton was a fraud its still an argument that mounts to nothing.

To me -J.Frank Daton's story has the feeling of Forest Gump about it .... whereas Brushy's story has a deepness that suggests Dances with Wolves.

Most of JFD's story can be untrue -yet he still could have been Jesse James .. it just means Jesse had delusions of grandeur - not uncommon among both the famous and infamous. I think the whole Brushy story is authentic -if there are any inconsistencies...it is because of our 21st century ignorance .

I disagree, there are a lot of instances where their stories are shall we say 'Coupled ". Dalton had Charlie Bigelow, Brushy had Billy Barlow. Coincidence or just a great tag team??

Please put a lid on the sarcasm. It doesn't strengthen your argument. I understand why you want to equate their stories as being the same and I don't argue there is that one coincidence regarding the rhyming of names. And there is the similarity that both of them claimed someone else died in their place. But that's where the similarities end. You can legitimately say their stories have a couple of similarities but you can not say they are "the same". That is a major exaggeration and I think you know it. Since you obviously must know it and you insist on claiming they are the same, that means your statements are "disingenuous". And again, that doesn't strengthen your argument. It just makes you look desperate.

It kind of sucks when the same two individuals seem hellbent on killing the discussion of every single thread with their sarcasms and ignorance. Lets just ignore those comments since they are clearly not meant to further the discussion anyway.

I've never had an interest in Jesse James but it's Dalton and his association with Brushy that has me slightly curious now. Also purely because TTT constantly says Dalton has no credibility I'm now starting to think maybe there's more to this Dalton guy than people think. I honestly think there is too. According to his death certificate, he had every scar Jesse James was known to have, and then some. I will post his death certificate sometime.

But do you think YG3 will push the demand / interest high enough for the DNA to actually go ahead? It gets blocked in all avenues currently. Interesting. I do not know. I think that if it does end up being about Brushy Bill, which I have no doubt that it is and in my view that is why some media outlets are naysaying it and these media groups even say that is why is because they are anti-Brushy, but I think it will keep interest in Brushy Bill. They cannot prove in New Mexico that he died and I do not think it will go there, because Hamilton County will not let them DNA test Brushy and I personally agree with Hamilton County. I think research can prove enough of Brushy's story at least, that it should show that he is credible and is Billy the Kid. In my view, the old man story stands on its own and I would be skeptical of a DNA test, because the only thing that in my view it could prove, would be that Brushy was not Catherine Antrim's son, but her nephew, but a half-nephew, if they could get a good dna sample. My fear would be, if it did not match Catherine Antrim, based off the dna that they hypothetically might recover, then those naysayers would say we told you he was not the Kid. If the photo study by UT Austin does not prove to those people along with other research that Brushy was, then it would take legal action to prove Garrett did not kill the Kid, Billy's constitutional rights were violated in regards his trial and not receiving his pardon as promised and so forth to get New Mexico to relent a little, but that probably will not happen, because it would ruffle to many peoples feathers. I do think one day New Mexico may relent and admit that Brushy may have been the Kid.
