Did Billy the Kid use the alias name of Jimmie Simpson?

While searching for information about Kip McKinney, I came across this very interesting recollections of Felix C McKinney Sr. whose father built school houses in Frio County Texas and Billy (Billie) the Kid is mentioned as attended the schools there using the name Jimmie Simpson. The name I never heard of Billy the Kid using before or of him attending school in Texas.  It’s about the eleventh paragraph down on the link. Interesting story.
