Thanks for sharing this article, it’s an awesome find! He rode 3000 horses and only three throws  WOW what a record. Who could John Nunday be? Could he have been another contest rider? |

I have not had great luck finding John Nunday. The article makes it sound like he was well known. The article provides anecdotal support that Brushy was not a permanent resident in the area for a 15 year period. This was in 1916.
