And yet another version of the shooting

I stumbled upon yet another version of the shooting told by Pat Garrett. In this interesting version there’s a mention of Billy emerging from the woods across the road with a rush, and Garrett’s two men outside don’t answer Billy, and he goes UPSTAIRS, it was fifteen or twenty minutes before Billy’s arrival compared to a few minutes in other versions and also in this version Pat Garrett said Billy touched his thigh and shouting at him asking who he was directly, no mention of him asking Pete in Spanish. Pat also said it was July 12, instead of the 14th.

That's proof that he lied AGAIN for his own glory, and people today still believe his version full of lies, far from an intrepid hero in my book.

The story he told this time is also obviously a fabrication. Billy layed his hand on Garretts thigh while simultaneously holding a gun in one hand and knife in the other hand.. I guess he received an additional set of hands there for a moment!
