devoured, thanks for posting the link. Quite an interesting collection of photos to read about. On the homepage the historic known photo of a teenaged Jesse James that I always believed was genuine is now in doubt for me seeing what was discovered on that site of the Union belt buckle worn by Jesse in the photo. It is an interesting question as to why a teenage Confederate Guerrilla fighter would be wearing a Union belt buckle? As for one of the Billy photos, I don’t know how the photo of the possible Billy the Kid got stolen?, it may have been John Jones in the photo and it was believed to have been found in an 1882 wedding album of William Marcus Jones and Anastacia Campbell, so it may have had some provenance, and has a good chance of being the Kid, how unfortunate it got stolen.
