"if they present it as brushy facts then the trailer will be longer than the actual film, no need for popcorn then!"
Sorry Leeb but that doesn't make much sense really. The "facts" are that Brushy was a real person who claimed to be Billy The Kid. That is "fact". He told a unique story about Billy's escape from Ft. Sumner along with many other things that might or might not have been "fact". There is way more than enough material there to make a lengthy movie. That movie could present the story as being factual but we all know Hollywood isn't exactly into "factual" movies, especially those dealing with the old west. No one expects them to include only the stories that can be proven to be fact. But they can still "present" the stories as "if" they were fact. Whether they do or not, there's plenty of material there for a lengthy movie.
I know, you're just trying to suggest that very little of what Brushy said was actually factual. I get that. But you and I both know that we can't really say how much is factual and how much is not. That never stopped Hollywood from making any other movie it wanted to make.

I never really believed Brushy's story about the shootout with Pat that fateful night. I was happy when I saw Severo Gallegos more believable story about someone answering thier name was Billy. The authors apparently lied about the identity of Jesse Evans being Hines when it was more likely Campbell. I don't trust Brushy's authors but I still believe he may have been Billy. I think they lied about his year of birth also. I believe Brushy did say 1861 and that does make sense.

Brushy's story about his shoot out with Garrett that night is completely different to everyone else's story and that's why I believe him. I think brave people have no reason to lie. I think Young Guns 3 should be a stand alone film. It doesn't matter what happened in the first 2 movies. If Young Guns 3 is going to be about Brushy then make the movie exactly how he said things happened.

Awesome! It would be so cool if someone could make a similar video that included animations of various Brushy photos for comparison.

I am a big Emilio Estevez fan and aside Billy the Kid/Brushy Bill is my favorite character that he played. Apparently, he has been researching for this film for a while. I noticed that Christian Slater has joined the cast. Emilio's last film The Public was excellent, so I this should be awesome, especially since he is writing and directing.
