Important Announcement - PLEASE READ

To all members and visitors of this message board:

As creator and administrator of this message board it is my responsibility and desire to keep it's focus on the areas of discussion originally stated as its purpose. Precisely, Billy The Kid, Brushy Bill Roberts and other old west "related" topics. While I am convinced that a major reason why the board has 400 members and thousands of posts and remains the only truly active discussion board about Billy The Kid topics, I am seeing posts that push the boundaries of it's purpose a bit farther than I ever intended. I remain committed to the concept that everyone's opinion matters and no person should be banned from the board. But I have arrived at the very difficult decision that some specific messages have no rightful place here. I do police the board every day to delete messages that or solicitations or contain any offensive language. As of today, I am going to begin deleting messages that I truly feel are beyond the scope of what the board is intended to discuss. And I intend to make it retroactive, meaning, as time permits I will be going back through past threads and deleting such posts. Please rest assured I am "NOT" talking about posts that I simply disagree with. I "AM" talking about posts that I truly feel are not on topic.

Feel free to respond to this thread but only this thread if you feel this is improper. Thanks so much to all members for all your past interest. I hope this decision makes the board a better experience for everyone concerned.

I've had this board going for about 14 years and I never deleted an account or banned a user. I've finally had to take that action and I apologize to all the other members. I may have been wrong to take this action as I suspect he had very good intentions but after searching my heart I truly felt his posts were becoming more and more "far afield" and after being warned he continued to show he was unwilling to curtail that. My apologies for any inconvenience.

Mr. Land, wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your forum.

I put myself in the side that believes Brushy Bill was the kid.

I hate to ask this but could you let me know how to register on the board, I’m 81 and sometimes technology gets the best of me!

Have tried several times to signup without success, any help you could give me would be appreciated.

Thank you so much. I'm very happy you enjoy the forum. Registering should be fairly easy but I don't know exactly what you might be missing. At the top of the page, over on the right, you'll see the word "Register". You just need to click there and fill in the information requested. I hope it works for you. Let me know.
