Hello, What do you think about the picture found by Frank Abrams with Garret and where Bily is supposed to be ? do you think it's really Billy ?

I think it could be authentic but I'm not totally convinced. If that's Garrett then he looks thinner than I've seen him in any other photo and the alleged Billy's adam's apple is much further below his chin than in the authenticated tintype. That said, there are some convincing similarities.

That said, there are some convincing similarities. If it's authentic, it could be a sign that Billy and Garrett were not only knowing each other, but somewhere were really friends (I suppose it wasn't usual in this time to be photographied with people you weren't close) and that, for what is related to this friendship Garret wasn't lying in his book.
If Brushy hadn't the full pardon of the governor in 1949, all this story could nearly sound like a case of United States Federal Witness Protection Program 90 years before the program ;-).
