Does anyone have pics of Brushy's house in Hico? What street is it located on? I went there years back and drove by it but do not remember it's location.

It was for sale. I should have bought it when I could have. Does anyone know if it is for sale and how much?

He has another house in Hamilton which is probably still standing. He lived in it longer I was told.

Maybe someone else can correct me on the street where the Hico house is located? I looked on line and found "W 2nd St" but I'm not sure that is correct. It's been 11 years since I was there and I've forgotten the name of the street, so W 2nd may be incorrect. Sorry.

OK. I found it on Google maps. The house is on "Lena St." Lena runs between Center St. and Hill St. but after one block it becomes two ruts rather than a real street. If you're going from Center toward Hill on Lena st. where the road becomes just ruts, his house was the first one on the left of the ruts. Yes, it is near W 2nd st but not actually on it. Here's a satellite image from Google maps with the house circled.

Thank you I see it now. I was there a few weeks ago but couldn't remember where it was. I was there over 10 yrs ago for the Billy the Kid Days and had drove by it.

I wonder if that is still considered Lena St?

It still is on Google maps and I see no reason they would have changed it. You may notice the ruts continue on over to Kirk St. but when I was there it was so grown over I don't think you could have driven on through.

Sure wish I would have remembered where it was when I was there last month. I went to the Hamilton County Tax collector site and tried to locate some info on it there but wasn't 100% sure of address.
