Here's another mystery I was wondering about the time difference? Garrett said the time of the shooting was close to midnight, someone else said 12:30, Paco Anaya said Garrett was wrong and it was 8:00, I have a theory , it's just a theory, at 8 o clock it would still be light enough for Billy to see Garrett in the room, Billy would have drawn on Garrett as fast as he was and everyone knows Billy was fast on the draw, but Barlow was not as fast and so to help people believe he beat Billy to the draw Garrett could have changed the time to midnight so he could say it was so dark Billy couldn't see him. also it made it more believable that Garrett could beat Billy to the draw by saying Billy didnt have his gun, I also find it odd that a person would come to someone's bedroom or room at midnight while that person is in bed maybe asleep and walk in and ask him questions without a light. In total darkness how would Garrett know for instance that it was Pete in the bed and not a lady?, it seems to me If Garrett came to Pete's room at midnight I would think he would have knocked on the door and Pete would have lit a candle or oil lamp or something?, would he have had a conversation with a visitor in the dark and even if Paulita had walked in?, also if it was so dark that Billy couldn't see Garrett then after he shot Billy, Garrett and Pete would have tripped over Billy's body running out the door, it makes no sense. I believe the time was more close to 8 o clock , it wasn't completely dark, there was enough light in the room but Barlow wasn't as fast as Billy, the time had to be changed to midnight so people would believe the Billy couldn't see him story, that's just my theory or idea.
