Thanks for the link. I enjoyed reading that and did some other related searching on Mr. Nickle's research and story. Very interesting stuff. Between Butch and Sudance and Dillinger and Billy and Jesse, it seems there sure were a lot of people who didn't really die as history records. It seems illogical in a way that so many outlaws got away. Yet, the illogical is not necessarily the "impossible". After all, they were all pretty good at evading the law and with the exception of Billy, maybe they all planned and carried out fake deaths as the ultimate escape from the law. Billy's escape was, in my opinion, not planned and may very well have been the inspiration for other outlaws to try and accomplish intentionally, what happened with him more or less accidentally. If that makes sense? (LOL).
