Are there any photographs of Turner? I think I saw one posted by Ronback not long ago as an old man, not sure on witch thread ...

I got to say that he was far from an nice guy,he lacked respect with ladies.(according tom Ma'am Jones) When John Jones died he branded John's herd with is own and skipped. His brothers wanted to go and look for him but Ma'am said to her sons to let it go. A few years later he wrote to Ma'am if it was ok if he came back but she said it would have been bad for his health if he came back.( One of her sons would have got him) He and Chisum were the reasons that the Joneses were on the Murphy-Dolan side. Turner had been deputized by Peppin and because of that John tought he was on the right side.( Side of the law) And it was known that Chisum was hated by almost all the small ranchers in the Pecos.( He controlled a vast territory and owned a very small portion of it, an **** in other words)
