Around 1894 Joseph Antrim went to work with Paulita Maxwell in New Mexico, whom was his brothers love interest. Paulita fell for Joseph just like she did with his brother despite his different behavior. Paulita would be around with Joseph quite a bit and the two seemed to flirt. It’s unknown how they split up but it’s likely he was fired and forced to go.
note: I will wish to remain anonymous but I do have evidence to support my claim, but this will likely be my only post and I most likely will not respond to anyone. But I’m putting this story out there. I am a member of this board already for sometime and i made this guest account to to tell this story while remaining anonymous. But if anyone is able to get any evidence supporting my family story it would be appreciated to be posted on here. I did not just come up with this story just seeking help, I won’t respond but I will read.

I wish you would post your evidence. My first reaction was that it explain traditional history’s insistence on Billy being Telesfor’s father despite the fact he wasn’t born until several years after Billy’s “death”.

Post your evidence from your real account. I won't laugh at you. I would believe your story more than I would believe Pat Garrett's story. I'm keen to know more.

In 1880 - Paulita was a 16 year old school girl...hiding behiind her mother's skirts and a priviledged and protected member of the Mexican community established by her farther at Fort Sumner Paulita was merely an observer of traumtic events at the time -her existence would have been hardly recognized by the main players. It was her adopted sister Deluvina who was infatuated with BTK - at 25 years old she was older than the other belles of Fort Sumner but the most dedicated to BTK. The other girls were in their early twenties - older that Billy...two were unamed by Paulita - one the mother of a chld that looked to everyone as being the child of BTK - the other becoming a very sucessful woman near White Oaks...this could only be Susan Mc Sween - the cattle Queen of New Mexico .Susan - much older, than Billy - paid for his legal representation and is on his right (smiling) in the croquet picture....Sally Chisom on his left was about his age but like Paulita denied any romantic attachment and aquired much more suitable and substantial husbands - both of which proved far from being life partners.Sally unlike Paulita had the up bringing to be a successful business woman on her own - like Susan McSween.

BTK would not have got an introduction to Paulita...20 years after her death -Brushy doesn't even mention her .. Instead-he contradicted the
established narrative about his connection to Paulita -about his escape from Lincoln County jail...about his birth in New York...about the night Pat Garrett fired a shot in the dark. Effectively - Brushy was making a death bed confession.
