W H Roberts through history

The 1881 is incorrect. It should read 1861. He is the William Hays Roberts that was born in Onion Creek, TX. Mr. Roberts lived in Big Spring, Texas during the three years I lived there, 1954 - 1957. I saw him a couple of times, but I was young and that was a long time ago. I have a few newspaper articles on him. One of them has a picture of him but it is not very clear.

I don't know how to post articles or pictures on the board. The picture and the article are in the San Angelo Standard-Times, Texas, Sat. Feb. 15, 1958, Page 2.

I agree, all three share the same stance and over all appearance. Until I have seen evidence to the contrary I must conclude they are one and the same. Maybe if someone digs up NMJames old article from the archives I'll be proven wrong. For the time being, im considering the guy on the left is likely Brushy.
