Im excited to hear a new photo of the Kid have finally emerged and is soon to be released by a certain member of our board. This photo is supposed to be crystal clear and leaving no room for doubt whether it really is the Kid. Anyone has any thoughts on this?

I'm guessing it's going to be a really good photo.
I haven't even seen it but I feel like I already know it's going to change history.
The world needs more people like Dan Edwards.

What I like about what I've read in the comments on the FB page is that is it verified BTK, so we then compare to known photo's of Brushy and make our own assessment.

"aka Billy the Kid - Brushy Bill Roberts". Dan Edwards is the excellent host of the page. I joined a couple months ago and have enjoyed it immensely. I get the impression that the new photo strengthens Brushy's claim but I'm not sure that's correct. I'm sure looking forward to seeing the photo.

At first there was a reveal that was posssibly going to cost $5 and Dan was going to donate that, I think to the Brushy museum in Hico, but I believe that ship has sailed.

Best 5 bucks I've spent. The new photo matches all photos of Brushy and matches Billy. I was asleep and missed the live broadcast so I missed the chance to ask Dan questions.
Looks like Brushy really was Bill and not Oliver.

I wasn’t sure what to make of the expert not knowing the famous tintype (not sure I believe that) but it was an enjoyable watch nonetheless. |

If that is the photo, I struggle with his generally accepted age on July 14th, 1881. This photo, IMHO, is not of a 12-13 year old boy. I recently watched by son grow into a young man of 24...just my opinion clearly. However, it does make me wonder if the age Billy gave in the 1880 Census may in fact be the truth. If he was 25 in 1880 then he would be around 17 at the time this picture was taken. I could possibly see this individual as being 17ish..I know it is said he may have been younger than his generally accepted age but.. Guess, I will have to watch the show...  |
