What are the chances Charlie Bowdre survived and was John Miller?

I don't see any way that would be possible. But I do think it just might be possible that Billy Barlow survived and changed his name to John Miller.

Thanks for the reply. The reason for the question involves the picture of four men standing in a row. It is on this website of allegedly the kid, doc, jwj, and bowdre. The picture of the supposed kid has small hands, big wrist and stands like Brushy. The alleged bowdre picture has that long looking left arm, and the thumb looks like Miller’s. Plus, the face is similar to me. Also, does anyone know anything about that picture?

Would that be the John Miller, age 30, born in Texas, a gambler living in Grant County, NM, in the 1880 census, that changed his name to Billy Barlow before changing it back to John Miller before 1900 when he was in Valencia, NM?

He wouldn't have had to change his name and change it back. Brushy said he thought the name Billy Barlow was an alias. Besides I don't think Barlow was Miller. I'm just throwing that out there as a possibility. A truth stranger than fiction kind of thing.
