If there was conclusive evidence (DNA or other) which proved that Billy the Kid was killed in 1881 and that Brushy Bill Roberts and John Miller were both just delusional old men, what would your reaction be?

First I would post the information here on this message board as an opportunity to make a public apology for all of my mistaken assumptions over the years. Then I would take a poll of the board's members to inquire whether they'd like to keep it going as a tribute to Brushy's false claim having brought attention to the life and times of the real Billy The Kid's story.

Hello Sam Fraser, I would be glad that we finally got an answer. I would be a bit sad knowing Billy The Kid did die a short and violent life and didn't live to be 90, and I would question how facial comparisons could match so well if they were two different men, it would make me doubt any other facial comparisons experts say is a 90% or so match, and I would wonder why a man would say he's someone else when he had nothing to gain by it, why he would want to complicate his life and knowing family, friends, and town folk included would be bothered by reporters, interviewers, or people who are just curious, he had to have known what a stir it would cause and did, I would wonder how he knew as much as he did and if he wasn't Billy The Kid if he was someone else that played a part in The Lincoln County War? , he was an interesting man, and if this board were to stay up I would still post because there's other topics about Billy The Kid's life and Jesse James that's also interesting, and also there's topics of mystery about Billy The Kid we can discuss such as what happened to the gun he supposedly had when he died, did he really shoot Carlyle or did the posse? there's alot of unanswered questions.
