A copy of that photo was published in the Austin American-Statesman in January 1950. The Ancestry.com pension file includes an image of that photo. Thanks Texas

After all these years, someone has created a high res image of Billy's tintype that is astounding in it's clarity and detail. I don't know who did it or how they created it so I apologize for not providing the appropriate credit. But I could not resist sharing it here when I saw a glaring similarity with one of Brushy's photos. The photo of Brushy was taken at the meeting with Governor Mabry. As you probably are aware, photos sometimes show more facial blemishes or less depending on lighting and the camera's abilities, etc. I don't see any clear evidence of this on any of the other Brushy photos though there are other photos where you can "maybe" see this. If I'm correct, the BTK tintype shows a scar of some kind on the bridge of the nose. This photo of Brushy shows a scar in the exact same spot. I leave it to the viewer to decide what this means or if it is accurate. Here's the two photos: View AttachmentI also find the enhanced photo of Brushy interesting. The area on his cheek. Is this from Buckshot Roberts gun butt?
