Hey everybody! I recently recorded a podcast episode on Brushy Bill Roberts and thought I'd share it on this board. I even mention the board during the podcast! If you're interested, it can be found on iTunes, Anchor, or pretty much anywhere other podcasts are found.
If those links don't work for you, just do a search for Bloody Beaver Podcast on your favorite podcasting app and you'll find Episode 4 on Brushy Bill.
Warning, it's both historical and comedic, so there is some NSFW language. And I do get a lil silly at times.
I'd really love to hear feedback from ya'll on this. Enjoy!

I listened to the entire podcast. Aside from the filthy language (and to be fair, you warned us) you are very entertaining. I also appreciate your honesty and respect for other opinions on Brushy. I’d like to know where you got your list of Brushy exploits given that you admit never having read Alias Billy the Kid. I’ve never even heard of some of the things you mentioned, such as being a professional boxer. I agree with you that much of Brushy’s claim hinges on the integrity of William Morrison because ultimately we rely on the information he provided. I give him the benefit of the doubt until someone can show that he had a reputation for being dishonest before or after his time with Brushy and the writing of the book.

Hey! Thanks for listening! Glad you were entertained! The info on Brushy Bill's exploits post 1881 I got from the book Billy The Kid: Beyond The Grave written by W.C.Jameson. He is a Brushy Bill believer. I was able to find it at my local library so give that a try before spending your money.
If you're interested in other old west figures, my most recent episode is on the real life people and events that influenced Lonesome Dove. And my soon to be released episode is on famed Comanche Chief Quanah Parker.
