The Fellas found a some interesting items in their dig, they dug around Blazers Mill area and found a small snub nose bulldog type gun that they said gamblers used to carry and conceal, they also dug around a hillside area that they said was a place Billy hid out, and they found a thick green glass bottle halfway buried under a large rock, but what was cool about it was it was intact but in the center was a huge hole caused from a bullet shot perfectly in the middle during a target practice, the particular bottle once held mineral water by Congress company and there was a big letter C on the middle of it and whoever shot it was aiming for the C and looked to be a perfect shot dead centered of the bottle as done by a trick shooter, none other than they guessed the Kid? They also dug behind the old Lincoln Courthouse and found the head of an old pickaxe, the Dig Fellas suggested that Billy may have used it to free his shackles with? They dug behind what was the old Tunstall store, and around where the McSween house was, they found a rifle shell and other more ordinary things such as an old horseshoe, a horse bit that the Fellas felt may have been from Tunstall's horse, and a spitoon. They took the items to a top Authenticator and he was more excited about the bottle than the other items. I was hoping they would have did some digging around the area of interest of Fort Sumner but they did dig in a few other good places. I kinda thought they wouldn't find much because I had imagined the areas where Billy The Kid had his battles would have been explored quite thoroughly by now?
