I won't defend or criticize Morrison's qualifications, but, I do agree he was no college educated historian. Consider this though, Gale Cooper, who is an author and does stand against any theories outside of the accepted BTK story is a psychiatrist. Not to say she is not well versed on BTK in her own right, I don't think she is formally schooled as a historian. It wasn't my impression Bob Boze Bell or Drew Gomber are either, and they are experts on the BTK history. I may disagree with these three on some points, especially over the events of July 14th, but they are all well versed in aspects of western history. So, I don't know how important Morrison's education might be when you him hold up against our modern BTK experts and researchers. Gale Cooper is anti Brushy militant and called Brushy a crazy old fool quite a few times like many others status quo people. I dont agree with everything she writes but she know how to write a good book. " The Santa Fe ring vs Billy the Kid" is one of them, and I recommend it. Coming back to her calling Brushy and old fool... Why did she wrote a book of 888 pages about it if she s so convinced he was a fraud??

I have Alias Billy the Kid. At first Brushy told Morrison he was not Billy the Kid , but he was his half brother and Billy was living in Mexico. Later Brushy tells Morrison that he was Billy the Kid, but he did not want his wife to know and that is why he lied about not being BTK. Morrison claims that Brushy had 26 knife and bullet scars on his body. That means Brushy was stabbed and shot 26 times and he lived to tell the tale. Brushy also claimed he was in a shoot out with Pat Garrett and his posse. Brushy was shot in shoulder, jaw and the top of the head and the bullet went 1 1/2 inches back of the forehead. According to Morrison he felt the indentations of Brushy's jaw and head.

There are about 10 Brushy Bill Roberts is Billy the Kid books. The Billy the Kid Museum in Hico and Billy the Kid tombstone in Hamilton. Also if you look at unmanipulated actual pictures Brushy ain't Billy the Kid. If you don't look like Billy the Kid you aint Billy the Kid. That's why Gale Cooper wrote a book about the Billy the Kid Hoax.

She talked so much against the Ring's tactics in her books altough she acted exactly like them with those lawsuits, she also brags about it in her books, that part has not impress me...

Gale Cooper's goal with Brushy is proving that he, his friends and backers are a hoax.

Jeffy the Dolmer, you are like a child who wanders into the middle of a movie. You have no frame of reference. For your information so far only one professional photo comparison have been done, using the same technique as the FBI, and this study came to the conclusion Brushy was a close match to Billy the Kid. I was referring to one of the several Brushy Bill Roberts is Billy the Kid books. Daniel Edwards "Billy the Kid a Autobiography" front cover he is morphing Brushy and Billy through photo manipulation. As for the 1990 photo study claiming that Brushy is a close match. The equipment used is primitive by today's standards. You don't need any special technology to see the differences of Billy's face vs. Brushy. OBTW that was a lame ass rude comment, but I guess you get a free pass when you are a senior 5 star member.
