In this book author Henry J Walker says he had letters from Brushy Bill Roberts because they had kept in touch through mail for a while. He says he will always cherish and keep those letters. I am wondering if one of you can try to find those letters. The book is dedicated to his sons Gary Frances Walker and Henry James Walker. It was printed in 1961 by Wallace Homestead Company Des Moines Iowa

This should be one of the easiest best leads but nobody has followed up on it I guess. I guess I have to. I'm not good at much except, .... uhhh. Doesn't someone want to do it? They are probably still kept by a discouraged family on account of all the J. Frank Dalton stuff. I'm not good at get anything done so please don't depend on me to find the answer.

See pp. 31 - 34 of Walker's book
Henry J. Walker says Frank and Jesse James had a blue eyed cousin named Jesse James that sometimes came to Clay County. Then he says that Jesse James was a cousin of Frank James, but not of his brother, Jesse James. Then he says that Frank's cousin, Jesse James, was christened Jesse Woodson James. Then he says that the dark eyed Jesse James, the half brother of Frank James, was known as Jesse "Dingus" James.
