They are replaying the previous episodes each Sunday night, prior to airing the newest one. You can probably see it next Sunday. It's on AHC "American Heroes Channel". Overall, they did a pretty nice job of retelling Billy's story but it always amazes me how they can mess up the stuff that would be so easy to tell. They've got Garrett's shooting of Billy completely backwards where Garrett walks in on Billy rather than the other way around. The rock house at Stinking Springs is a farm house and barn. And a few other discrepancies but I enjoyed the show anyway.

Cool-Thanks Wayne! Wouldn't it be nice if they could add in the fact that Billy the Kid may not have been killed that night instead of always assuming every single person and or historian believes this? I mean we have a lot of evidence saying other wise. I know there is evidence suggesting he was killed but there is a lot of evidence suggesting he wasn't........by very educated and well documented people. I just wish since it isn't set in stone that they would branch off from the normal story and bring up the fact that Garrett's story was pretty full of holes.

Unfortunately, these TV shows are rarely about uncovering and/or illustrating the true events as much as they are about making the almighty dollar. The folks who produce these shows likely have little or no interest in the story of Billy The Kid. He's just a means to an end. Produce a TV show that pulls in enough audience to sell commercials and make money. Sadly! Otherwise, you'd think they would at least get the story consistent with what the history books say. But no, Garrett walks up outside the door of the room where Billy is staying, alone, and shoots him down? Come on. Where did that come from if wasn't just sloppy, careless, uninformed hogwash? The actor that plays Billy does a good job but he's got light, almost blonde, hair. Somebody described it that way so they cast it that way without trying to discover if that was correct. Billy did not have blonde hair! Look at the tintype for goodness sakes. That's not blonde hair.
Even so, I still enjoyed watching. So I guess it even worked on me.
