Awesome. I wonder if this is the old Wortley Hotel? The sweater definitely looks like Billy’s.

Awesome. I wonder if this is the old Wortley Hotel? The sweater definitely looks like Billy’s. I cleaned up the image Missy, and yeah, it does look like his sweater. I believe it is Billy and Pat because it's archived from the state. It said Lincoln Hotel in the photo, so IDK if it changed. FYI these archives show everything and they're everywhere. Every state Billy lived in has archives of him, and there are many more out there in books. It's fascinating they're accessible for everyone. Ben Wittick's collection is there as well. He's the photographer they think took the infamous tin type. It's all pretty awesome an I think we can definitely figure it out pretty soon. The most interesting fact I've learned recently was Henry Hooker was good friends with Lew Wallace. Lew Wallace has a collection as well. (Special surprise photo coming soon). 😁 Attachments:

I'll share all my finds here. It's was needle in a hat stack, I had no clue was gonna be that distinguished, and hard to refind. Notice the pose.. There's a meaning behind it.

What a find! I agree he does look distinguished, not like an outlaw. Where did it come from? What age do you think he could be here? Thank You for posting it.

I found it at one of the bookmarked pages above in a screenshot I posted. I was up late and came across it using the search words archives, rare, tin type, all his alias's, and a combo of states, counties, cities, Forts etc.. When I scrolled over it'signed WH Bonney. Its archived. I saw it, originally, as a thumbnail in Google images.. Literally sitting here dumbfounded it's in one of those links. I found it in one of the links I posted in this thread earlier. Age.., I'm guessing it's in Silver City, possibly when he met Henry Hooker. So 18. In addition, The context is about Ranchers having the money, and the Masons controlled the money. The Masons are mentors to young aspiring Mason's Missy. Billy character was even known by William T Sherman who was aware and somewhat justified Billy's actions in a few articles I'm going to be posting soon. *Henry Hooker was good friends with Lew Wallace. *The pose in this portrait is a Mason pose with the face looking up angelically. More to come..

It is quite the coincidence that the Lincoln hotel photo includes two guys standing together where one of them is quite a lot taller than the other and it is possible they resemble Pat and Billy but unless it was taken before they reached their adult heights, the two are too short to be Pat and Billy. Just compare their heights to the others in the photo. If the man you think is Pat is 6'5" then the fella just to his right must be about 8 ft. Also the sweater is not the one from the famous tintype. It's not the same color. It seems there are folks who think any picture from the old west showing a man in a sweater has to be BTK. Apparently sweaters were not all that uncommon then.
